‘Get Loud for Fruit & Veg!’ student competition

As part of Fruit & Veg Month 2017, the Healthy Kids Association has partnered with Yates, Klean Kanteen and The Vegetable Plot to create a writing and drawing competition.

To promote the theme of ‘Get Loud for Fruit & Veg!’ students are asked to write a cheer to get more people eating fruit and vegetables.

One student entry from each primary school year (K-6) will win a prize pack (valued at over $100 RRP) and includes a Yates gardening prize pack, a Klean Kanteen drink bottle and a Vegetable Plot CD.

PLEASE NOTE: ONLY STUDENTS FROM A FRUIT AND VEG MONTH 2017 REGISTERED SCHOOL ARE ELIGIBLE TO ENTER. (If you’re not sure whether your school is registered for Fruit & Veg Month, contact us to find out. Only NSW primary schools are eligible to register for Fruit & Veg Month.)

How to promote it

We’ve created an A4 poster for you to print out and place up in classrooms or around the school to let your students know about how to enter.

We have also provided a newsletter snippet to include in your school newsletter if you wish to inform parents about the competition. You can modify this to suit your school.
