Skipping breakfast
When you wake up in the morning your body is hungry! You haven’t eaten for ages and your body has used up a lot of its energy stores just to get you through the night.
Skipping breakfast can affect your concentration at school, and the way you eat for the rest of the day. If you skip brekkie you’re more likely to binge on less nutritious foods at your next meal or snack.
Common reasons for skipping breakfast include:
- Not enough time
- Just can’t be bothered
- Nothing tasty or tempting in the kitchen
- Not hungry in the morning
