‘Planet Fruit & Veg!’ student competition
As part of Fruit & Veg Month 2020, Healthy Kids Association has created a competition for students. To promote the theme of ‘Planet Fruit & Veg!’ students are asked to plan their future fruit and veg patch.
There are seven (7) great prize packs up for grabs to help the winners begin their own fruit and vegie patch journey! Each pack includes a vegie patch kit, 8 piece gardening tool set, gardening gloves and some seeds.
Winners will be selected from entries received across the state, with one winner from each school year (K-6).
PLEASE NOTE: ONLY STUDENTS FROM A FRUIT AND VEG MONTH 2020 REGISTERED SCHOOL ARE ELIGIBLE TO ENTER.
If you’re not sure whether your school is registered for Fruit & Veg Month, contact us to find out. Only NSW primary schools are eligible to register for Fruit & Veg Month.
How to promote it
We’ve created an A4 poster for you to print out and place up in classrooms or around the school to let your students know about how to enter.
We have also provided a newsletter snippet to include in your school newsletter if you wish to inform parents about the competition. You can modify this to suit your school.
How to enter
Entry forms can be accessed here. Please collate entries from your school, pick the best one from each primary school year (K-6) and then send them to us by close of business, Friday 9th October 2020.
Entries can be mailed to:
