Ingredients

 8 slices wholemeal or multigrain bread, toasted
 2 avocados, mashed
 2 egg, hard-boiled, thinly sliced
 4 olives, halved
 2 nori (seaweed) sheets

Method

Evenly distribute avocado between each slice of toast and spread until entire surface is covered.

Top each piece of toast with 2 slices of hard-boiled egg to make the eyes.

Place half an olive on each piece of toast for the nose.

Using scissors, cut nori sheets into triangles and rectangles of various sizes.

Decorate the face using the nori shapes. Get creative here! Hair, a mouth, eyebrows and scars are just some of the examples you can decorate the face with.

Variations

  • Top your toast with different veggies. Why not try a cucumber nose or grated carrot for the hair?
