Been Accounting is a high-quality accounting firm located in Cootamundra, NSW. Healthy Kids receive a 10% cash back for each referral we send to Been Accounting, so please let the team know who has referred you when you first contact them. These funds allow us to continue lobbying for food literacy for school-aged children.

Dairy Australia is the national service body for the Australian dairy industry. It has a long history working with schools, providing free, curriculum-linked resources on its education portal, Discover Dairy, designed to help teachers educate students about the important health and nutritional benefits of dairy foods and the farm to plate process. With most Australian primary school-aged children consuming dairy foods and lacking an understanding of where food comes from, Dairy Australia is committed to providing high quality, credible resources that teachers can easily adapt to suit their classroom.

Food Recall App – FoodRecallAus
Food allergens that are not declared on food labels are the most prevalent reason for food products to be recalled from sale. The FoodRecallAus app is designed to rapidly notify concerned consumers of contaminated packaged foods so that consumption of recalled foods can be avoided.
This is an essential tool for those who suffer from a food allergy or intolerance, particularly concerned parents of highly allergic children. This app immediately sends food recall notifications direct to a mobile device and alerts the user with a sound and symbol that a new food recall has occurred. This is of great benefit for alerting school canteens to remove contaminated food from sale to children.
FoodRecallAus is Australia’s only dedicated food recall notification app and has been nationally endorsed by Environmental Health Australia (the peak body representing food safety officers who perform food safety inspections). It can be downloaded from Google Play and iTunes for less than $1.50.
GS1 GoScan
Helping consumers make informed decisions about their food purchases in the supermarket is key to helping them understand what’s in food. When you see the Healthy Kids logo in GoScan you know the product you are choosing is a healthier choice within that product category of foods. It has met the nutrition criteria that sets targets for reducing the amount of energy, fat, saturated fat and salt in our diets, and increases the amount of calcium, fibre and whole food ingredients like whole grains, milk, nuts, seeds and fruit.
