Healthy Food Information Service
Use the Healthy Food Information Service to offer healthier menu choices at your school canteen.
School canteens play an important role in helping students make healthy choices about what they eat.
The Healthy Food Information Service is a FREE one stop shop to help you:
- look up the Health Star Rating of packaged products
- classify foods on the menu correctly as Everyday or Occasional
- complete and submit a menu check
- link you with local NSW Health support
Support is available for all NSW school canteen managers, staff and volunteers to help you run a healthier canteen. Call the Healthy Food Information Service on 1800 930 966 (9am-5pm, Mon-Fri) or email healthyfood@health.nsw.gov.au
